Individual music lessons and mentorship provide participants in long-term programs with the opportunity to develop musical skills over time. Together, Music Moves Us and facility staff identify participants who are eager to continue exploring music. Individualized instruction may include learning an instrument, developing vocal skills, writing songs, producing music, or exploring audio engineering.

Music Moves Us provides personalized instruction, creative guidance, and access to musical resources that support each participant's interests, goals, and experience level. As participants develop their skills, they experience the satisfaction of overcoming challenges, achieving personal goals, and discovering abilities they may never have realized they possessed. Throughout the learning process, facility staff encourage continued participation while helping participants recognize how the confidence, discipline, and perseverance they develop through music can carry into other areas of life.
